Appeal for Drivers with Dashcam Footage to Come Forward Following Incident on Borough Road in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for drivers with dashcam footage to come forward after a man threatened a male delivery driver and damaged his van on Borough Road in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Monday 7th August at 5:40pm when a black BMW estate (an older BMW model) stopped next to the victim’s van which was stationary on the road and a man got out and threatened the 28-year-old male van driver. The suspect then punched the vans window on the driver’s side which caused it to smash.

Following the incident, the man got back in the BMW and drove off onto Laurel Street before reversing back onto Borough Road and driving off in the direction of Marton Road.

It is believed the suspect is described as being an Asian male in his 30s.

The victim was uninjured from the incident.

Anyone who with dashcam footage or anyone with information regarding the person responsible is asked to contact PC Chris Lindsey on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
