Police Dog Rocky Sniffs Out Suspected Weapons

Yesterday night, officers and the dog unit were called to a report of an altercation on Parliament Street in Stockton.

It was reported that a number of men were possibly in the possession of weapons which could have potentially deemed a risk to members of the public.

Police attended the scene and a 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public order and for possessing a bladed article/ knife in a public place. He currently remains in custody.

Shortly after the arrest, Police Dog Rocky was put to the test to locate any suspected weapons which were believed to be connected to the incident. He successfully managed to locate some in a nearby bush.
