Appeal after Man Suffers Broken Foot in Fail-to-Stop Collision with Motorcycle

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian in Stockton.

The collision happened on Tuesday 1st January, New Year’s Day, at around 11.50am on Rochester Road at the junction of Romsey Road.

The 18-year-old male pedestrian suffered a broken foot and cut to his left hand, requiring hospital treatment.

The motorcycle, which had two riders, was stopped briefly before it was driven away from the scene.

Officers would like anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who may know the identity of the riders on the motorcycle, is asked to contact PC Sharon Smith from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 000384.
