Open event for 999 fleet contract

An open event is being held for vehicle specialists interested in the contract to keep Cleveland Police’s cars on the road.

The fleet maintenance contract will be advertised on http://www.eu-supply.com/ in September.

On Monday September 3 interested parties will be able to talk to Cleveland Police’s Fleet and Procurement team about what the contract will cover and take a look at some example police vehicles.

The open event will run from 2-5pm at Cleveland Police’s new Community Safety Hub, Cliffland Way, Hemlington. Please confirm attendance to [email protected]

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner be looking for suppliers who have the knowledge, skills and resources to look after a varied stock of more than 300 vehicles including BMWs, Peugeots, Fords and Skodas.

Contracts will cover MOT and servicing as well as providing ongoing maintenance repairs, which can be extensive.

Suppliers will need to be able to provide a fast, priority service to the Force in line with the needs of an emergency service.
