Appeal for Information Following Robbery in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Middlesbrough.

The 38-year-old victim was approached by an unknown female in the car park on Cooper Close, Middlesbrough at around 11:40pm on Tuesday 8th October.

The suspect tried to attack the woman with a screwdriver before stealing her handbag. She made off towards Eston High Street onto Church Lane. The victim was unharmed.

She is described as being white, slim build, gaunt face, around 5’3” tall and blonde hair with dark roots which was tied up in a ponytail. She was wearing salmon pink and white spot trousers, a brown long sleeved fleece, Ugg style boots and a black baseball cap.
